Malaysia Vs. Indonesia ...

Dah lama tak tulis coz busy sket.. Isu hangat masa kini.. Indonesia Vs. Malaysia.. Semua pihak membincangkannya.. Kat blog sana sini.. So I want to contribute to that too..

Tapi kenapa? Dah lama isu ni bermula.. Cuma tak diambil kisah oleh warga Malaysia.. We have other internal issues to focus on.. (*More important issues daripada isu yang remeh temeh ni).. Tetapi di Indonesia sebaliknya berlaku.. Kebencian mereka terhadap Malaysia semakin menjadi-jadi.. Kenapa bencikan mereka? Mereka kata kita pencuri.. Curi ape?

This is just who we are.. They just have to accept it whether they like it or not..

NO WAR!! NO HATRED!! LET'S LIVE IN PEACE!!

Unpublicized Preventive Steps for H1N1

Hello.. I received this one email from my friend.. The heading for this email was 'Unpublicized Preventive Steps for H1N1'. Why is it unpublicized? I also don't know, maybe because of it's unconventional method.. But there is nothing wrong with knowing it, right.. You can even try if you want..

Let me share it with everybody by copying and paste it here

Thanks to media hype about H1N1, I’ve received calls from several who trust me, to advise. The hype in media about the utility of face masks and N95 as a tool for general protection against H1N1 can’t be deplored enough. Today, a friend who listened wanted me to write down briefly what I advised so that he could tell others in similar words. Hence this short email to friends whom I have advised recently. Please realize that this is not an official advice, especially the one about face masks or N95.

Most N95 respirators are designed to filter 95% particulates of 0.3µ, while the size of H1N1 virus is about 0.1µ. Hence, dependence on N95 to protect against H1N1 is like protecting against rain with an umbrella made of mosquito net.

Tamiflu does not kill but prevents H1N1 from further proliferation. H1N1, like other Influenza A viruses, only infects the upper respiratory tracts and proliferates (only) there. The only portals of entry are the nostrils and mouth/throat. In a global epidemic of this nature, it’s almost impossible not coming into contact with H1N1 in spite of all precautions. Contact with H1N1 is not the problem but proliferation is.

While you are still healthy and not showing any symptoms of H1N1 infection, in order to prevent proliferation, aggravation of symptoms and development of secondary infections, some very simple steps — not fully highlighted in most official communications — can be practised (instead of focusing on how to stock N95 or Tamiflu):

1. Hand-washing (well highlighted in all official communications)

2. “Hands-off-the-face” approach. Resist all temptations to touch any part of face (unless you want to eat, bathe or slap, hehe).

3. Gargle twice a day with warm salt water (use Listerine if you don’t trust salt). H1N1 takes 2-3 days after initial infection in the throat to proliferate and show characteristic symptoms. Simple gargling prevents proliferation. In a way, gargling with salt water has the same effect on a healthy individual that Tamiflu has on an infected one. Don’t underestimate this simple, inexpensive and powerful preventative method.

4. Similar to 3 above, clean your nostrils at least once every day with warm salt water. Not everybody may be good at Sutra Neti (a very good Yoga asana to clean the nasal cavities), but blowing the nose hard once a day and swabbing both nostrils with cotton buds dipped in warm salt water is very effective in bringing down viral population.

I heart Malaysian TV Shows..

To be honest, I'm not really into malay dramas or movies.. I always think that malaysian tv shows sucks, not cool etc.. After got influenced by friends I finally started to watch malay drama/comedy online from www.tv3.com.my .. So far, I've watched 'La Dolce Amira','Datin Wan Abe' and 'Cinta Untuk Ain'.. And i like what i've seen..

Currently i'm watching 'Nur Kasih'; i'm so in love with the show!!.. Can't wait to watch coming episodes.. I don't know if it's just me, but i find the drama to be different from what i've expected in terms of originality.. When you think you know where the plot is heading, the total opposite happened.. You just can't predict the story line.. That's why i love this show, making me to want more from it, hehehe.. Good job khabir bhatia!!

I think i'm falling for malaysian tv dramas.. I find that the quality are getting better even though there are some that are just plain boring.. Keep up with the good work man!! Go and support malaysian tv shows!! Yeay!!

How long do we have to wait?

When will this problem will go away?? It's crazy to see people dying everyday because of H1N1. I think by now everybody in the world should be informed about the virus, but the people are acting like nothing wrong is happening. How many more people have to die before we handle the problem seriously?? Is it the government's fault? Other people? Is it us? We can always play the game of pointing fingers..

I think everybody need to play their part.. Cooperation and awareness are the answers.. This problem can't be solved when one side is doing all the prevention while the others just do nothing about it.. All of us should be involved.. I heard that some students who got sent home because their school/universities were closed didn't really quarantine themselves as advised.. Instead they go out (ex: to the mall, go for a vacation etc.) and exposing themselves to the virus.. *Not a smart thing to do*

So people, let's not be ignorant.. Keep yourself protected and updated with the situation.. Go get a flu jab and Eat more fruits and vege to boost your immune system.. HeLL, do whatever you can to protect yourself!!

For more information about the swine flu, you can go to NHS website (you can find all the information you need here)
http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Pandemic-flu/Pages/QA.aspx

p/s - Stay safe by staying inside * I guess if we don't go out, we won't spend that much.. Then we can save more money, hehe *

Death of Men..

For the past weeks or even months, I can say that I recieved news about death at least once a week.. Oddly, most of the deaths involved men below 50.. A coincidence?? Why is that so?? I don't know.. Qada' and Qadar by Allah I guess..

Not only that, most of the deaths related heart problems.. Surprise2, I'm sure everybody know that heart related problems are no. 1 killer for men.. It is sad and scary to find that not many men will be able to reach the age of 50.. *So this would mean that those who managed to cross the age of 50 would be considered as lucky isn't it? hehe*..

Here I would like to advice all people (men especially) to take care of their health by eating more healthy foods (more vege n fruits) and less high cholestrol foods.. I heard one said that if you (men) have bigger waist, there is a higher probability of you getting heart attack (*so come on guys, exercise!!)..

P/S- Vitamin C (Fruits and Vege) are very good for our immunity system.. With the problem of H1N1, let's boost up our immunity by eating more fruits and veges.. Or just take the supplement if you just can't find the time..

Helo world..

This would be my first blog entry.. I know it's kinda late for me to open a blog.. But it doesn't matter because i feel this is right time for me.. The time when i'm ready to share my words to the world.. I want to speak my mind about anything when i feel like it.. I just want to thanks all the bloggers that insipired me to write and give me the courage to finally open a blog..
